About Mymero

Mymero, a solitaire card game for the iPad, delights with beautiful fantasy characters and medieval music, while relaxing and training your brain.

Mymero is an anagram of Memory. It works differently but Memory is also available as a single player mini-game. Memorizing where you cards are located is also an important and challenging part of Mymero because your attempts to choose them are limited. But cards can also have synergy and it can matter in which order you flip over cards.

How the game works

You always have 12 different Character cards on the table, face down. You have to find the right character cards to fulfill Quests. To activate a card for a Quest, it’s flipped over.
You get Quests to fulfill, stating your needs:

                                                                                                            layout of a character card

You may flip over up to 3 character cards to achieve it. All cards are character cards. Character cards have Characteristics and Statistics (Magic, Power, Defense).

If their accumulated Magic, Power, Defense and Characteristics match with what is Needed for the Quest, you are awarded with a new Quest. If not, you can flip back cards one by one until you find the right combination. Flipping a card face up costs one Attempt. flipping it back is free.

If you have 0 Attempts left and try to flip over a card, you lose the game. That’s it, in short!

But the fun is in the little things!

Bonuses to your Magic, Power or Defense can be received by renting Items or by special character Characteristics.

Sometimes the order of cards can make a difference, because of Bonuses (shown on the right) from special character Characteristics that provide Bonuses such as Firstpicked or Intensify.

Every 10 Quests, you reach a new level and receive Gold equal to the new level, while the cards are reshuffled. Every 2 levels you reach a brand new Card Set to play with!

When a New Quest is chosen, the surplus in Magic, Power and Defense you had in the previous Quest is added to your XP. For every 100 points you gain an XP Level and you then gain Attempts and Gold equal to your XP Level.

There are 4 character Factions in the game:
Enlightened, Earthbound, Renegade and Darkling. There are 3 character cards for each Faction. In every uneven level, the Faction cards are shuffled within their own Faction column. Every even level, cards are shuffled completely randomly.
